Have you committed a sin lately, before you read this, yesterday to your best friend, to yourself? Sin creates walls that are impossible to take down. Building a house is like sinning, brick by brick you are adding more and more on top of itself until all is going to cave in. By yourself, there is no way you can take that house down, that is without tools at least. God is the only tool that can conquer your wall of sin and make it clear for you to live in his ligh that was blocked by the wall.
You become as a enemy to God when you sin. He loves and does everything to keep you from sinning, God is always right there beside you when bad times and temptations come around. He will be more than happy to see you avoid that sin and keep another brick from that wall. What if you were separated from everything you’ve ever known, and the only thing making that happen was a ‘little white lie’ you told this morning to your wife, sibling, husband. Wouldn’t you want to avoid that misery and pain. Guess what though, a few words to Jesus in a prayer can make that invisible wall of Separation disappear and make you able to see what’s really around you.
“Once you were alienated and hostile in your minds because of your evil actions. But now He has reconciled you by His physical body through His death, to present you holy, faultless, and blameless before Him — if indeed you remain grounded and steadfast in the faith and are not shifted away from the hope of the gospel that you heard. This gospel has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and I, Paul, have become a servant of it.” -Colossians 1:21-23
How about you, can you say that you’ve evoke a server of Gods will & word? Can you replace Paul’s name with yours without saying a lie? Are you willing to serve God even when you least expect it?
Times will come when you are questioned, times have been where you have questioned. This time your governing the answers, but only God can give you the truth first. Are you on defense or offense? God wants you to decide.
